Have you ever used a Port-A-John in the dark?
I'll stop there, because it's not for the faint-of-heart. The things I do for my country...
Yes, interesting living out here. I got a haircut today. My barber (a local national) started pumping me for a tip before he even finished cutting my hair. I was amused by his wheedling so I tipped him. Heck the haircut was only $3, anyway.
Helen is doing well also. We get to IM almost everyday and I call her for free on the weekends. She's currently battling a mamology class in which she has to memorize the distinguishing characteristics of two-dozen or so skulls, and they all happen to fall into the "rat" family, or something like that.
Work is not too boring, but then again the 10 hour shifts go by very quickly. It's hard to remember that I've been gone for more than a month already. I'm hoping this tempo will keep up because it's hardly stressful, but is fast enough to make the days go by very quickly. At this rate, I'll be on my way home before I know it. Please pray for Helen. It's not as easy for her. She will have to endure this summer with nothing to do, unless she can find a job.
Well, that's about all there is to tell. Except that I turned in my laundry today. I'll get it back tomorrow. That's that. NOW there's nothing to tell. When I'm at work, I work; when I'm not at work I sleep, exclusively. I'll try to post more frequently, but the internet is very squirrely here. We'll see.
One last thing. I haven't been ignoring my email, I just can't check it from work. I will try to get to some of them as I can. Thanks...

Dude, you don't even have to do laundry? Hehe, good to see a post again. I'm in GA right now, about to fly home tomorrow. I drove the JFA exhibit out here, about 18 hours worth of driving. Not fun. But I made it. I'm praying for you and Helen, hang in there, God Bless, JAB
