My first Post! Wow!

Well, hello ever-diligent blog checkers! Welcome to my first post! As my first act of blogging, I'd like to point out some of the subtle (by subtle, I mean we didn't change the color) changes alluded to in the previous post. Note the updated "About Me" section, the new verse at the top there (which Matt picked for whatever reason), and the very exciting Sudoku link! Isn't Matt a sweetie! Putting a link to sudoku for me! Ha!

I'm home for the summer and found a very nice job watching an adorably precious 5-month old baby three days a week, which is just enough to keep me busy (and bring in a little extra $$) while still letting me feel like I have a summer.

I know it's hard to top the Port-a-John story, but my current, slightly less horrifying happening is as follows: my Mom injured her finger and so I am on dish-washing duty until further notice. What is so horrifying, you ask? Well, if you're just going to have to wash them again anyway, why not let them pile up for a week? I'll tell you why! Slime! Mold! Bugs! Stench! Little pieces of stuck-on mystery meat! Oh, the Horror!! See, I told you it was scary. And yet I still haven't done the first batch of dishes yet. Alas, it is my own sin that leads me to ruin!

Well, looks like I'm getting carried away here, so goodbye until next time, dear friends!

Nice to hear your stories, Helen! I can pretty much guarantee that the 5 month old will provide you with some interesting stories down the line as well :)

I still think you should make the blog look girly. A few flowers here and there won't hurt.

Ahh, but this is why she doesn't know how to change the color and whatnot ;-) That way I can maintain a little professionalism, at least :-|

Hey, I'm smart, I could change the color if I wanted to! I just respect your choice of color, and I'd rather change other things about your life instead of the color of your blog.. like how you spend your free time and your money. :)
