Another place to look...

If you're booking travel, a friend of mine who travels ALL the time just became a travel agent. She was the one who set up the mission trip to Jordan that I went on in 1999. She and her husband have continued to dedicate their time to spreading the gospel, so use their website as another option when searching for any kind of travel booking. You'll find them at http://www.ytbtravel.com/kbmedlin, but I've got them in my Links too. They get a commission so if prices are the same, please pick the good guys ;-)

I hate transience!!!

Yes, this is the first chance I've had to check my email in the past 3 weeks. Argh.

Anyhow, things are much the same as they have been for a while. We're still waiting on the interest rate things to settle down before we lock in, but we still plan to close on the house on the 7th of Nov. We had the chance to sit a house for some friends at church for about 3 weeks. That was a good chance to have a house to ourselves for a while and to let our parents have their house back for a while too. But now we're back again, so we'll be here until we move into the new house. They've been so gracious and hospitable to us while we've been here, we just hate to wear out our welcome.

We're going to have to get a friend for Meep. We're arranging to have Meep and her new friend both get to the new house at the same time so that neither feels that the other is intruding on their home. I'm hoping that we'll be able to find another young kitten at the shelter less than a week before we close on the house. We'll see how that goes.

Once we get into the new house and get internet set up, posts will be more regular, hopefully, and we'll be able to keep in touch with all the people we love. It's been so hard to juggle work and life and each other and chores and dreams and planning and friends and all that other stuff. We're both having a little trouble adjusting, so keep us in your prayers. Nothing bad, just stressful.

Anyhow, that's where we are for now. I'm hoping to get some more pictures up soon. More later...
